Philosopher and Apologist

PHILOSOPHER AND APOLOGIST

 Christian apologist and philosopher

Primarily I am a Christian, husband, and father of six. I earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in Philosophy from Marquette University and a M.A. in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary. I’ve taught in four different classical programs and am the current Director for the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Program at Southern Evangelical Seminary. I was also a funded scholar with the Acton Institute and have worked for some other think tanks over the years.

I came to Jesus Christ as a result of trying to show the flaws of Christianity. After discovering the abundance of evidence for God’s existence, the resurrection of Jesus, and the reliability of the Bible, I accepted the gospel of salvation. I am not only a college professor, instructor, or author, but also a Christian apologist.  Since my conversion, I’ve dedicated my life to giving a reason to believe Christianity is true. My latest work to this end is my book Reading to Grow: A Field Guide to the Bible. Please contact me via email if you desire training in how to give a reason for the hope you have with gentleness and respect (1 Pet. 3:15), or even how to think about all the different subjects offered in the liberal arts from a Christian worldview.
